BARRISTER:

When you are going to court it is wise to have a specialist represent you, the appropriate specialist is a Barrister.

Barristers are trained legal practitioners who may or may not have previously worked as solicitors. They undergo extra training in the rules of evidence and specialise in presenting cases in court. They can appear in a wide range of courts including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, the High Court and a range of specialist Courts depending on their areas of interest.

SOLICITOR:

Solicitors are legally trained practitioners who have direct contact with clients and can appear in all courts such as the Local Court, Children’s Court, Family Court and a number of Tribunals.
